FREE PUBLIC MEETING SPACE

Our Lounge space is open, free meeting space anytime we're not using it for an event! Stop by and check it out.
Lounge Space

LOUNGE SPACE

DESCRIPTION

From 8:00AM – 5:00PM* every weekday, the Lounge is free, public meeting space for the innovation community to gather and brainstorm: a living room for the Innovation District. With furniture that ranges from worktables with integrated power to couches and high-top stools, this brightly lit space is perfect for every kind of meeting. The customizable color- changing LED installation overhead and the writeable Ideapaint walls inspire creativity and collaboration. Brew Café is open during the day for coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks. At night and on weekends, the Lounge is available to host a wide range of events, from informal meetups to social receptions. For a cocktail reception, the Brew Café counter converts easily into a private bar.

CAPACITY

Public Usage:  On a daily basis, seating in the Lounge operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private Events: Up to 150 people for a standing reception / other configurations on request.

We have several conference rooms available to rent on an hourly basis for your next meeting.
Large Pod

LARGE POD

DESCRIPTION

There are two Large Pod conference rooms (Pod 1 and Pod 3), each with a standard 12-seat boardroom-style configuration. All of the walls are writeable IdeaPaint, and markers are provided. Full floor-to-ceiling windows offer plenty of natural light. These rooms are able to be configured for larger meetings (up to 20 people), classroom-style workshops, and can also support small private receptions (up to 20 people)

CAPACITY

Normally set for 12 boardroom style, on request we can fit 20 people conference style / 25 people reception or lecture style / other configurations on request.

Small Pod

SMALL POD

DESCRIPTION

Pod 2 is a small conference room with a standard 4-seat meeting configuration. All of the walls are writeable IdeaPaint, and markers are provided. Full floor-to-ceiling windows offer plenty of natural light. This room is able to be configured for larger meetings. Pod 2 also has a door to the exterior, making it a great space for pop-up retail with access direct to the street.

CAPACITY

Normally set for 4 boardroom style, on request we can fit 8 people / 12 people lecture style / other configurations on request.

Assembly Space

ASSEMBLY SPACE

DESCRIPTION

The Assembly Space is our most flexible event space. It can support 200 seated guests for a lecture- style presentation, a standup cocktail reception for up to 250 people, various banquet-style configurations, or various other alternative layouts. The Assembly Space also has two large acoustically- rated garage doors that function as dividing walls between the three Bays, so the space can be easily divided into multiple configurations: for example, a medium-size theater or reception space for 100 guests, or three separate workshops / breakout sessions. In addition to the writeable walls throughout, the space also has a 33′ contiguous white board wall at the front for large-scale artwork or projection.

Whole Assembly Space: 250 for a standing reception / 200 seated theater style

Individual Assembly Bays: 49 seated theater style or standing

Food and beverage service is exclusively provided by our wonderful partners at Gather + Brew.

Want catering? Event planners from Boston Event Solutions will work with you to make your catered event run smoothly. They will help with catering arrangements (provided by the delicious kitchen at Gather), logistical details, and coordinating external vendors if necessary.

No food or beverage? All events and meetings without catering are organized and staffed by our Venture Café team at District Hall.
